Make ginger biscuits with Special Ingredients glucose syrup and bicarbonate of soda.

Ingredients
- 300g All Purpose Flour
- 130g Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 4 Tbsp Special Ingredients Glucose Syrup
- 180g Butter or margarine
- 7g Special Ingredients Bicarbonate of Soda
- 6g Cinnamon Powder
- 12g Ginger Powder
- 1.5g Salt
Directions
Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a baking tray.
Sift the flour into a large bowl and add the salt, ginger, bicarbonate of soda and cinnamon.
Cream the butter and sugar until pale. Add the glucose syrup and continue mixing.
Add the egg and mix.
Fold in half of the dry ingredients, then add the remainder and mix until the dough is smooth and slightly sticky.
Scoop out small portions with a spoon and roll into balls with your hands.
Place the balls well apart on the tray: the biscuits will spread during baking.
Bake for 13–15 minutes. Remove while still soft and leave to cool on a wire rack: they will harden as they cool.
