What is maltodextrin?

Our maltodextrin is a high quality product. A fine, dry powder produced from wheat starch. Easily soluble in both hot and cold liquids. It is one of the most commonly used ingredients in the food industry, where it is primarily used as a low-calorie bulking agent or flavor carrier. It can be used to thicken liquid solutions and to bulk dry doughs. Use to disperse ingredients or flavorings in dry or liquid solutions. Maltodextrin is not sweet so it can also be used as a low-calorie sugar substitute in savoury ice cream or sorbet.
