Ultratex is essential in any kitchen: an extremely versatile, high-performance thickening starch. Add it to hot or cold liquid preparations until the desired consistency is reached. It is a tasteless, colourless, gluten-free powder. Added to a liquid, it disperses quickly and evenly without lumps. Sauces, drinks, gels and other liquids can be thickened to the ideal consistency without altering their flavour. Add just 1%–5% for instant thickening, hot or cold. Perfect for making fluid gels or stocks quickly and easily. Use in fruit or vegetable juices, shakes, smoothies, stocks, sorbets, creams or any flavoured liquid. Ultratex is also freeze-thaw stable and prevents liquid release. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians, non-GMO, gluten-free, kosher-friendly and halal-friendly.

Directions for Use: Gradually add until the desired consistency is reached. Ultratex hydrates quickly, so it thickens very rapidly. For optimal results, leave to rest for approximately five minutes, as it will continue to thicken slightly while the starch swells. Typical dosage in liquids: 1%–5%.

Storage Conditions: Store in a dry, cool place away from direct light. Use within 6 months of opening.
