Our vanilla pods are top-quality Grade A from Madagascar. Extra large, measuring 14–18 cm long. Madagascar vanilla is known for its floral and fruity aromas. Its flavour is often described as warm, creamy and buttery, with a familiar, comforting character. Grown in Madagascar, the pods can be used in different ways to give a pure, intense vanilla flavour to ice cream, crème brûlée, baked goods, icings, desserts, creams, pastries and drinks. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians, non-GMO, gluten-free and kosher-friendly.

Directions for use:

The most intense aroma is inside the pod, in thousands of tiny fragrant seeds. Use a sharp knife to split the pod lengthways, expose the seeds and scrape them out for your recipe. The outer pod can be reused: place it in a jar of sugar, syrup or another liquid to infuse it with vanilla flavour.
