Our dextrose powder (also known as grape sugar) is a superior-quality refined powder, a natural form of glucose, a simple monosaccharide found in plants. It has a wide range of uses, including in juices, smoothies, cocktails and drinks. Use in cakes and baked goods to replace sugar (it has 70% of the sweetness of ordinary sugar) and is highly hygroscopic. It gives fondant icing flexibility, inhibits crystallisation in ice cream and sorbets, and has a high glycaemic index. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Non-GMO, gluten-free, non-irradiated, kosher-friendly, halal-friendly.

How to use: add as required to achieve the desired taste. In baking, slightly increase the wet ingredients, as dextrose absorbs slightly more liquid than ordinary sugar.
