What is Maltodextrin?

Our Maltodextrin is a premium quality product. A fine dry free-flowing powder produced from wheat starch. Easily sol-uble in liquids both hot and cold. It is one of the most commonly used ingredients in the food industry, where it is main-ly used as a low-calorie bulking agent or a flavour carrier. It can be used to thicken liquid solutions and to increase vol-umes of dry mixes. Use to disperse ingredients or flavours in dry or liquid solutions. Maltodextrin is not sweet so it can also be used as a low-calorie replacement for sugar in savoury ice cream or sorbet.
