What is tapioca flour?

Our tapioca flour is a high quality fine white powder. Also known as tapioca starch. A natural product derived from the roots of the cassava plant. It is ideal for those on a gluten free diet and contains no fat or cholesterol. It is low in sodium and contains iron and calcium. Also used as a thickener in cakes, sauces and soups and will give a glossy finish. It is used as a binder in Gluten Free recipes and can be mixed with other flours to make Gluten Free pastries, breads and cakes.
