Commonly used in baked products, ice cream, chocolate, desserts and confectionery to prevent recrystallization of sugars and increase the shelf life. It can also be used for its freezing point depression abilities. Maltitol Powder is a sweetener that can be used as a sugar substitute, it has 75-90% sweetness of sucrose.
