How to use: The strongest flavour is found inside the pod in the form of thousands of fragrant vanilla seeds. Use a sharp knife to split the pod length ways to expose the vanilla seeds, scrape the seeds out and use as directed in your recipe. You can reuse the outer bean pod, it can be placed in a jar of sugar, syrup or any liquid to infuse with vanilla flavour.
